Albert Lee Gilliam, 66 of Paragould passed away Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born October 7, 1945 in Paragould to Clarence and Velma Gilliam. He was an Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He loved to ride his motorcycle, go hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Cooley and Clarissa Gilliam both of Paragould; two brothers, Donald Gilliam of Memphis and Paul Gilliam of Marmaduke; two sisters, Vernice  Potter of Paragould and Linda Fears of Stanford; five grandchildren, Kordova Winberry, Mitchel  and Curtis Cooley, Zachary and Jessica Holland.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Roland and Kenneth Gilliam.

The family will receive friends 10-12, Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Phillips Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Gainesville Cemetery.

I am so sorry I did not know Alert had passed away till this morning when I ran into someone at Walmart telling me about it. I am so sorry for his loss, he will be missed, may God bless each and everyone of you through this tough time. I am the oldest daughter of the late Jerral Gilliam, I lost my dad July 11th 2011...I miss him sooo bad
