Our condolences to the Rogers family. At this sad and trying time, keep God's promises in your hearts and minds. One day soon, death will be eliminated for good (Isaiah 25:8), and we'll have the opportunity to welcome back our loved ones (John 5:28,29). We look forward to that time.

So sorry to hear about the loss of my friend and former neighbor. Carrell was always fun to be around and he always had the time to just sit down and talk with me. I will always remember the time he took me squirrel hunting up at Brookings and I got lost. My prayers for strength and comfort are with you at this most difficult time.

I love and miss you, Uncle Carrell, and am so grateful for finding our Rogers family. I'll never forget that you & the others always kept looking for my mom. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms. I love & I'm praying for Marcella, the kids, & grandkids. Give mom a hug for me.

I thought of lot of Carrell. He umpired a lot of my softball games. I never considered myself a great pitcher, but Carrell must have, because he called most of my pitches strikes. If there is softball in heaven, I hope he umps all my games. He was a great man, and has a great bunch of kids. Love to you all. RIP Carrell. You definitely left your mark on all of us.

My condolences in the passing of Carrell. I umpired many softball games with Carrell in the 80s and 90s in Pocahontas, Jonesboro, etc. Carrell was always a very pleasant man, fair and honest in any dealings I ever had with him. I don't remember ever seeing him lose his temper in dealing with players, coaches or fans. A very good example. My prayers are with his family at this time.
