Geneva Lorene Humphrey

Geneva Lorene Humphrey, 85, passed away November 19, 2016, at Belle Meade Nursing Home.  She was born January 9, 1931, to Millard and Ivy Asher.  Geneva loved to quilt and sew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Humphrey; one son, Earl Humphrey; one granddaughter, Stacy Jones; and five brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her two sons and daughters in law, Larry and Jennifer Humphrey and Frankie and Valerie Humphrey; two daughters, Iva Jones and Lillie Humphrey; a sister, Doris (Terri) O’Connor; a twin sister, Genetta Asher; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 11 a.m. until noon on Monday, November 21, 2016, at Greene County Memorial Gardens.  Funeral Services will follow at noon with Edward Stormes officiating.
