Georgia was a kid at heart, so it is not surprising she worked with kids most of her life. She had a smile on her face and was always ready to laugh. I remember a few plastic roaches and one plastic rat she used for a few practical jokes around our building. Her ringtone always reminded me of a circus.

Georgia loved to eat and often instigated our staff potlucks. I think she liked the way food brought people together like a family. Family was important to her and she sacrificed herself for her loved ones. I appreciated all the times she asked how my parents were doing, since they lived far away. She especially made a point to do this when my dad was at his worst. I'm grateful to her for that.
I will always remember her smile, her zest for life, and the twinkle in her eyes. May she truly rest in peace.

Hey grandma! Never thought this would be it....I am ok just miss you tons already. You were my rock in life and knew when things were wrong without me saying anything at all. You have given me tons of memories and taught me lots! I saved voicemails I listen to daily some are good some are you lecturing me....it helps hearing your voice at a push of a button. I will always have you in my heart and never forget you! Miss you grandma hope you are enjoying the better place.

Georgia May,

You are one of a kind. I never had to wonder what you were thinking. LOL! I love the way you loved and cared about the staff and students at Woodrow Wilson Elementary. I am thankful I had the opportunity to get to know you and work along side you for many years. I think you are to be commended for the way you loved and cared for your family and those in need. I am glad our paths crossed and proud to call you my friend.

Love You Much,
Starla Wood

Georgia, you will be so missed. I was blessed to work with you and become friends. You always made me laugh, and nobody could be your peanut butter fudge. Princess is still a little stinker and she will always remind me of you. God bless the new Angel that has arrived.
see you one day again my friend.
