J.T. Gilbert

J.T. Gilbert, 76, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born November 12, 1941, to Therman and Kathleen Grace Gilbert. J.T. was a plant manager at L.A. Darling and a chemical sales representative at Harcros Company. He was also an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Paragould.

He was preceded in death by his parents and bonus daughter, Joanne Hamner.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, LaDonna Gilbert; bonus daughters, Jennifer (Allen) Goodwin, and Jackie (David) Lucas; daughters, Julie Gilbert, Jennifer (Warren) Baker; brother, Paul (Cheri) Gilbert; sister, Penny Takicawa; grandchildren, Amy, Andrew, Jordan, Rickey, Amy, Adam, Anna, Allen Jr., Adam, Jason, Dave, Laura, Luke, Jacob, and Guinevere; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

There are no services planned at this time. A memorial service may be planned at a later date.

The family requests that memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund at 404 W. Main, Paragould, AR, 72450.
