Joseph Edward Harris

 Joseph Edward “J.E.” Harris, 84, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018. He was born August 10, 1933, to Virgil and Estel Harris. J. E. was a master craftman and carpenter. He loved gardening and fishing in his spare time.

J. E. was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dortha Martin.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Ozella Harris; sons and daughters-in-law, Marty and Shelley Harris of Paragould, Todd and Vanessa Harris of Paragould, Tony and Brandi Harris of Paragould; daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Jody Faulkner of Paragould; brother, Ronnie Harris; sisters, Wanda Forehand, Betty Weese, Glenda King; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 10, at 10 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Jody Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Todd Harris, Kegan Harris, Tucker Harris, Storm Harris, Ryan Harris, Brandon Harris, and Shane McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers include Matt Dover, Talon Harris, Roscoe Wood, Ty Sims, and Andrew McDaniel.

The family requests that any lasting memorials to be sent to Finch Cemetery.
