Ronald Tyler Howe

Ronald “Tyler” Howe passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. Tyler was born August 12, 1993, to Lisa Carter and Ronnie Howe. He graduated from Paragould High School in 2012. Tyler was a lifelong resident of Paragould and an active member of Lafe Baptist Church.

Tyler was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy when he was 5 years old. He faced this disease bravely and overcame with faith in his God. He faced life with strength in his abilities and a humor that was uniquely his. Tyler was a blessing to everyone he was around. He loved God, his family, and all of his many friends. He gained the love and respect of all who met him. His disability became his strength.

Tyler was preceded in death by his grandpa, Leon “Pete” Carter.

Survivors include his mom and stepfather, Lisa Carter and Brian Gomer; father and stepmother, Ronnie and Shona Howe; sister, Heather Howe; brothers, Payton Howe, Kaegen Gomer, Seth Gomer, and Jayden Gomer; grandparents, Freda Carter, Pat and Al Howe, Sam and Carol Sawyers; uncles and aunts, Tony and Karen Carter, Larry and Cindy Howe, David and Christie Howe, Debbie and Bruce Rippy, Chuck and Rachel Sawyers, Tim and Suzanne Willmuth, David and Carol Sawyers; all of his cousins and extended family who loved him; and by his faithful companion and best friend, his Chihuahua, Coco.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. On Friday, February 16, the funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Brother David Poe officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Ronnie Howe, Tony Carter, Kaegen Gomer, Payton Howe, Brian Gomer, and David Howe. Honorary pallbearers include Alvin Howe, Gary Priest, Larry Howe, Jason Mace, Tyler Hampton, Jayden Gomer, and Seth Gomer.
