Van Dale Harvey

Van Dale Harvey, 83, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017.  He was born November 21, 1933, in Rector, to Deard and Snodie Harvey.  Van Dale served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He retired after 38 years at Foremost Dairy.  Van Dale was a workaholic.  He enjoyed staying busy with buying, selling, and trading.  Van Dale was an avid bird hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Harvey; and sisters, Faye Foresythe and Maye Bass.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Shelba Jean Harvey, of the home; son, Van Timothy Harvey, of Paragould; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Corby and her husband, Dan, of Paragould; grandchildren, Brandy Nicole Otto, John Van Otto, and Kirby Jeanie McChristian; great grandchildren, Dale Lee McChristian, Lexi McChristian, Gunner Johnson, Isabella and Ava Lynn Newsom-Otto; and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 12, at 1:00 p.m. until service time at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.  The graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery with Art Smith officiating.
