Vernon Luther Adams

Vernon Adams, 72, of Paragould passed away at his home on June 29, 2017. He was born to the late Joe and Geneva Adams on February 28, 1945, in Paragould, AR.  Vernon was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, served on the Quorum Court and was a longtime Jaycee. He loved NASCAR and was an avid sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kenneth Adams; and a sister, Shirley Malone.

Survivors include three brothers and sisters in law, Dale and Margie Adams, of Hardy, AR, Larry Adams, of Ozark, AR, and Bill and Faye Adams, of Desoto, MO; sister and brother in law, Ginger and Tim Birmingham, of Paragould; along with many nephews, nieces and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 1, from 2-3 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession to the graveside service will leave Phillips Funeral Home at 3 p.m.   Burial will be at Center Hill Cemetery.
