Benny Lee Weatherford

Benny Lee Weatherford, 57, of Paragould, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at his residence.  He was born March 17, 1960, in Beech Grove, to Arlie and Betty Weatherford.  Benny was of Nazarene faith.  He worked in the nursing profession since 1987, mainly in the ICU and at St. Bernards.  Benny also worked as a beautician and cosmetology instructor.  Currently, he was employed at Jonesboro Human Development.  He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be dearly missed, especially by his dogs, Rocky and Stella, who he loved very much.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Terry Osbon, Harold Weatherford, Gene Weatherford, and Don Weatherford.

Survivors include his husband, Jay Henderson; brothers, Eddie Weatherford, Neal Weatherford, and Jeff Weatherford; and sister, Linda Weatherford.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 2, from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Snyder officiating.  Burial will follow at Epsaba Cemetery.

Bruce Snyder, Jackie Henderson, Jacob Weatherford, Dewayne Dodd, Jason Taylor, and Jacob Widmer will serve as pallbearers.
