Brenda Jean (Sanders) Ray

Brenda Jean Sanders Ray, 78, of Paragould, departed this world unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. She was born July 25, 1941, to E.A. “Aden” and Maurine Gilbert Sanders. Brenda worked at L.A. Darling before moving to Fort Smith, AR. There, she worked at Owens Corning and Fiber Glass before retiring and moving back to Paragould. She loved playing bunco with her bunco girlfriends and would dance anyone off the floor.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jan Sanders Monroe.

Survivors include her sister, Frankie Sanders Babcock; daughters, Sherry Faulkner Jetton of Paragould, Tammie Faulkner Gulley of the home; grandchildren, Jamie Davenport (Mac ) Crawford, Zackery Jetton, Justin Gulley all of Paragould; great-grandson, Zaiyden Blaze Jetton;  and her precious puppy, Nicky Ray.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 21, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave at 3:00 p.m. for a graveside service at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Eddie Gene Wright officiating.
