Cecil Knuckles, 81, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born December 28, 1936, to Luther and Ruth Knuckles in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Cecil was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, gospel singing, and nothing was better than getting together with family. Cecil served as a Baptist deacon for 40 years.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alice Marie Knuckles; infant son, Billy Keith Knuckles; brothers, Luther Ray Knuckles, Danny Knuckles, and Carlos Knuckles; and sisters, Elma Hill and Delores Howell.
Survivors include his sons and daughters in law, Gale and Paula Knuckles, Dennis and Denise Knuckles, Charles and Sheila Knuckles, and Glen Knuckles; daughters and sons in law, Teresa and Johnny Houston, Louise and Allen Carey, Sandy and Alan Glazier; brothers, Harvey Knuckles and Dolan Knuckles; sisters, Joann House, Helen Crafton, Willodean Vaugn, Hildred Ward, and Margaret Swindle; 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery. A graveside service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Ron Dane officiating.
