Elder Rudy Thrasher

Elder Rudy Thrasher, 67, of Paragould, AR, went home to be with Jesus, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.

He was born in Paragould, AR on August 15, 1950, to Cleo Basel Thrasher and Eva Belle (Gibson) Thrasher. Elder Thrasher was an established Minister of 52 years beginning at 10 years of age, and was the founder of Apostolic Lighthouse of Paragould, AR.

He also pastored Soul's Harbor Church in Shelburn, IN and The Lighthouse Church of Columbia, TN. 

Preceding him in death are his father, step father, Bill Hayes and grandchild, Brittney.

Survivors include his wife, Marshia (Ivy) Thrasher; sons, Pastor Darrell (Krysti) Thrasher, Pastor Darren (Kimberly) Thrasher, Bryan (Channah) Thrasher, Devon (Rachel) Thrasher; daughter, Denita Clouse; mother, Eva Belle Thrasher Hayes; brothers and sisters in law, Gary and Sharon Thrasher, Kenneth and JoEtta Thrasher; sisters and brothers in law, Lavina and Preston Holt, Carolyn and Jerry Hayes, Teresa and Phillip Hayes; grandchildren, Jenessa, Austin, Jevon, Carson, Darrien, Jaydon, Landon, Jaylee, Madelyn, Victoria, Kaden; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Soul's Harbor Church in Shelburn on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 3-8:00 p.m.

There will be a second service on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1 PM at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church 3008 Linwood Drive Paragould, AR.

The family will receive guest from 10 AM until service time at Apostolic Lighthouse Church.

Burial will take place at Linwood Cemetery Paragould, AR. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Holmes Memorial Chapel.
