Glenda Francis Beasley

Glenda Francis Beasley, 77, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. She was born February 18, 1940, to Clifton and Ethel Thompson. Glenda was a lifelong member of the Center Hill Church of Christ and was active in Relay For Life. She worked for Dr. Barry Harris and First National Bank where she retired after 12 years.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Thompson.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bill Beasley; sons and daughter-in-law, Brad and Shelly Beasley of Jonesboro, and Shannon Beasley of Paragould; grandchildren, Dailey, Clayton, and Mason Beasley; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Buck Stroud; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Barbara and Gary Renfrow; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. until service time at the Center Hill Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Larry Thompson, Bryan Exum, Grayson Exum, Gary Renfrow, Chuck Palmer, and Dr. Barry Harris. Honorary-pallbearers are Brent Renfrow and Brian Murray.

The family requests that lasting memorials be made to Crowley’s Ridge Academy, Relay For Life, or the Children’s Homes.
