Harlan Greenway, 76, of Paragould, went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 11, 2018, with his loving family by his side at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1942, in Paragould to Morris and Juanita Greenway. Harlan was a retired carpenter and an avid sports fan. He was a member of Center Hill Church of Christ. Harlan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marlan Greenway.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Kay Greenway, of the home; daughters and sons in law, Sheryl and John Ridge of Paragould, Tina and William Shaw of Marmaduke, and Denise Clark of Paragould; brothers and sisters in law, Doug and Vickie Greenway of Tupelo, Mississippi, and John and Tracy Greenway of Marmaduke; sister and brother in law, Marietta and Tim Weston of Paragould; eight grandchildren, Amanda Sinapiades, Jessica Brogdon, Michelle Clark, Jeremy Clark, Drew Miller, Katelyn and Kylee Ridge, and Deeanna Summitt; and one great grandchild, KayLeigh Miller.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 13, from 5:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. A celebration of Harlan’s life will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Doug Greenway, Tim Weston, and Larry Brinkley officiating. Burial will be private.
Jeremy Clark, Drew Miller, John Ridge, William Shaw, Tim Weston, and John Greenway will serve as pallbearers.
