Janet Diane (May) McMillan

Janet Diane McMillan, 60, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018.  She was born February 6, 1958, in Paragould, to Billy Gene and Frances May.  Janet worked at Emerson Electric over 20 years.  She was of Baptist faith.  Janet loved to cook and care for her family.  She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and flower and vegetable gardening were among her favorite activities.  Janet was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.    

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene May, and sister in law, Annette May.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Harry H. McMillan, Jr. of the home; mother and step father, Frances and Roy Williams; children, Michael Krzton (Gina), Kimberly Proffitt (Tim), Marie Stewart (Tye), Jeannean Braden (Logan), Harry H. McMillan, III, (Melissa), and April Fore (Shane); siblings, David May, Mark May, Keith May, Joy Bryant (Ron), Judy Birdno (Jack), Everett “Buddy” Chaney, and Margaret Harris (Ronnie); 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and dear friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be Saturday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jeffrey Dial officiating.  Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
