Kimberly Lyn Pillow Lyles, 50, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis after battling ovarian cancer. She was born June 7, 1967, in Paragould, to Vernon “Bill” and Carolyn Pillow. Kim was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend to anyone she met. Most of all, her greatest accomplishment was being a proud grandmother (Mimi) to Ella, Avery, and Noah. They were her whole world; there is nothing she would not do for them. She attended First Baptist Church and previously active in the AWANA Children’s Program. Kim loved many things: some of Kim’s favorites included her dogs, hummingbirds and she was passionate about painting. Kim had more interests including gardening, eating crab legs, bargain shopping, family vacations, rescuing animals, and riding roller coasters.
Kim was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Kay Milligan.
Survivors include her parents; husband of 10 years, Vernon Lyles; maternal grandmother, Gertie Cox; children, Brett and Destiny Wineland, Madison Wineland, C.J. Lyles, and Lacey and Dan Duvalian; brother, Dewayne (Leah) Pillow; sisters, Shelly (Shane) Cleveland and Kelly (Heath) Brumley; and grandchildren, Ella and Avery Wineland, and Noah Duvalian.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be Saturday, May 19, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Rosewood Baptist Church with Heath Vines officiating. All are welcome.
Lasting memorials may be made to Rosewood Baptist Church in memory of Kim.
