Michael Liddell Straub

Michael Straub, 76, of Paragould, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018. He was born September 20, 1941, to Herman and Estalee Straub. He owned Pat and Mike’s Grocery for many years.

"My survivors of family and friends know who they are and might just as soon others didn’t for fear of embarrassment; so I won’t list them except you, Jerry, who I truly loved as much as any brother.

Preceding me in death were my parents, Herman and Estalee Straub; brothers, Joe, Connie, and Dean; also Patsy Ann Straub, the most understanding and loving gal who gave me 50 plus wonderful years.

With this information passed on to any who care, I leave you with this ideology that I have come to believe.

I am not going to Heaven or Hell, since neither exists. So save your prayers that you think I need and just put your dollars in the collection plate in hopes of buying your way into your Heaven. To those still living and those yet to be born (you are only born once), try to get along with each other and “Live and Let Live.” Enjoy what’s left, Mike Straub."

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 10, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.
