Norman C. “Clinton” Quinn, 82, of Evening Shade, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019. He was born July 22, 1937, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, to William (Bill) and Cinnie Quinn. Norman worked for Taylor Construction. He was of Baptist faith.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lounell Quinn; sisters, Arnell Quinn, and Marylee Emma Cook; and brothers, Alfred Quinn, Melvin Quinn, and Eugene Quinn.
Survivors include his son, Norman Wayne Quinn of Paragould; daughters and sons in law, Kathy and Terry Gilmore of Magnolia, Arkansas, Debbie and Hank Walters of Evening Shade, Arkansas, Patty and Tommy Slatton of Paragould, and Judy and Rick Penny of Paragould; brothers, Samuel Quinn and Leo Quinn both of Michigan; sister, Geraldine Springsten of Searcy, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Wayne Quinn (Mandy), Brett Quinn, Shane Rogers (Alisha), Johnathan Slatton, Gunnar Penny (Kyla), Tannar Penny (Cortney), Slade Quinn, and Celeste Penny; great grandchildren, Tyler Tubbs (Rachel), Aaron Rogers, Cole Rogers, Morgan Joiner, Riley Benson, and River Bishop; and 4 great-great grandchildren, Cooper Tubbs, Corbin Tubbs, Rhett Penny, and Olivia Penny.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 10, at Pine Knot Cemetery with Tracy Archibald officiating.
