Pauline Phillips, 76, of Paragould, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born June 20, 1942, in Paragould, to Dudley and Nellie Carroll. Pauline was a member of Bard Free Worship. She had quite the green thumb and her garden brought her much joy. Above all, Pauline loved her family; she especially enjoyed being a grandmother.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Phillips; four brothers; and an infant son, Norman Dale Phillips.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Scottie and Carmela Phillips, James and Sherrie Phillips; daughter and son in law, Sarah and Robert Grooms; brothers, Gerald and Rocky Carroll; grandchildren, Brandon Pennie, Amanda Phillips, Caitlyn Phillips, Hannah Grooms, Ethan Grooms, Steven, Candace, Jason, Rusty, Colby, and Emilee Phillips, and Brittany Cooper; and several great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, November 19, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
