Pearline (Hawkins) Shaw

Ester “Pearline” Shaw, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Salem Place Nursing Center in Conway, AR. She was born September 30, 1926, in Farmington, MO, to Herman and Ruby Hawkins. She married William J. “Bill” Shaw on September 28, 1942. Pearline was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Paragould, AR. She was a housewife and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Pearline enjoyed playing Bingo and watching COPS and Maybury R.F.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Ruby Hawkins; husband, William “Bill” Shaw; son, Billy Edward Shaw; grandson, Daniel Griffin; great-great-grandson, Cache Heslep; brothers, Printice Hawkins, Junior Faye Hawkins; and sisters, Reva Mae Adams and Letha Faye Hawkins.

Survivors include her son, Randy (Teresa) Shaw of Bigelow, AR; daughter, Tenna (Allen) Griffin of Paragould; grandchildren, Jeff (Lorra) Shaw, William (Tina) Shaw, Heath (Ashley) Shaw, Cody (Megan) Griffin, Wendy (Bobby) Peacock, Jessica Griffin, Jacalyn Shaw, Missy Shaw McCore; 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 1 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating.

Pallbearers include Jeff Shaw, William Shaw, Heath Shaw, Cody Griffin, Dekoata Heslep, Hunter Winston, Braden Queen, and Drew Miller.
