Rickie Don Murray

Rickie Don Murray, 60, passed away at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center on Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born October 26, 1957, in Rockford, IL, to Alvin and Imogene Murray. Rickie was an avid deer hunter and was an active member of the First Church of God. He loved and cherished his family. Above all, Rickie enjoyed playing gospel music and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Murray; nephew, Bradley Don Steward; and sister-in-law, LuAnn Murray.

Survivors include his wife Martha Murray; daughters, Courtney Murray and Morgan Murray of the home, Misty Hyde and Mindy Williams both of Paragould; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dewayne and Debrah Murray of Grandbury, TX, Ken and Kay Murray and Lynn Murray all of Paragould; sisters and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Don Steward of Kemp, TX and Shirley Kraut of Rockford, IL; and 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday, January 22, at 2 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Tim Ohler officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector, AR.

Pallbearers include Gary Stahl, Dennis Stahl, Shawn Steward, Darin Murray, Keith Curtis, and Kendal Bradley. Honorary Pallbearers include Bradley Steward, Don Steward, Burl Rogers, Clifton Carter, and Carl Long.
