Rodney Wyatt Lancaster, II, 40, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Rodney loved to go deer hunting and fishing. He loved his son and his family. Rodney was of Christian faith. He was the luckiest deer hunter ever, no thanks to his brother.
Rodney was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Joyce McDonald; sister, Bridgett Jones; uncle, Randy Lancaster; and aunt, Karen Williams.

Survivors include his loving son, Brady Wyatt Lancaster; father, Rodney (Jackie) Lancaster; mother, Brenda (Tim) Burgess; brothers, Jake (Tessa) Lancaster; Chris (Laura Beth) Keasler; sisters, Laura (Darrell) Hyten, Katelyn (Edward) Isom, Kimberely (Drew) Downs; paternal grandparents, Bill and Lucille Lancaster; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 9, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Jody Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Jacob Lancaster, Chris Keasler, Jake Page, Darrell Hyten, Ed Isom, and Mark McDonald will serve as pallbearers. Timmy Burgess will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
