Ruth Ann Clark, 55, of Marmaduke, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born February 5, 1963, in Paragould, to Glen and Dora Hunter. Ruth Ann loved people and she had an infectious laugh that drew people to her. She was a dedicated Christian that exhibited an unwavering faith in God. She was a long time member of Village Creek Church of Christ. Ruth Ann was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.
Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her father, Glen Hunter.
Survivors include her husband, Mark Clark of the home; sons, John Clark and his wife, Jessica, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Luke Clark of Marmaduke; mother, Dora Hunter; sister, Linda Mobley and her husband, Bruce; grandchildren, Madilynn, Christian, Lexi, and Jax Clark; nephews, Chase and Josh Mobley; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Village Creek Church of Christ. The funeral service will be Friday, November 2, at 10:00 a.m. at Village Creek Church of Christ with Sean Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Harvey’s Chapel Cemetery.
John Clark, Kimmy Don Rogers, Luke Clark, Jeff Freeman, Rodney Hampton, Chuck Davis, and Joe Foresythe will serve as pallbearers. Chase Mobley, Josh Mobley, Kevin Gill, Jim Hunter, Kurt Benson, Jim Ford, and Andrew Carter will serve as honorary pallbearers.
