Shirley “Cross” Judd, 70, of Paragould, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018, at her residence. Shirley was born April 21, 1948, in Walnut Ridge, to Fred and Mable Cross. Shirley was an amazing lady who always had a smile for everyone. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Family and friends were Shirley’s love and joy. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and many others because she took the time to bring a smile to their faces.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Judd; and brothers, Leo Cross and Freddie Cross.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Brian and Janice Judd of Paragould; daughters and sons in law, Patty Judd and Jimmy Knight, Shelly and Chris Brady all of Paragould, Crystal and Charles Cates of Bryant, Arkansas; sisters, Betty Stevens, Wanda Carson, Helen Campbell, and Dora Ellington; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 16, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Ron Pickney officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Denver Knight, Tommy Cross, Tristin Judd, Timmy Cross, Jerry Cross, and Mason Knight will have the honor to serve as pallbearers.
