Tommie (Delois) Grooms, 74, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018, at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born August 27, 1943, in Jonesboro, to Tommy and Gertrude Mouzy. Delois looked forward to going to Wal-Mart and yard sales. She was a loving wife and mother, but above all she cherished her grandbabies.
Delois was preceded in death by her parents, and great grandson, Gabriel Henn.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Bobby Grooms; sons and daughter in law, Tony Swindle of Paragould and Joey and Janet Grooms of Beech Grove; daughters and sons in law, Debbie and Wendell Mangrum of Paragould, Tammy and Tim Culwell of Paragould; Marsha and Jeff Etheridge of Lake City; brother, Bobby Mouzy; sisters, Eva Smith and Judy Adams; grandchildren, Tiffany and James, Alex and Brittany, Ashley, Bridget and David, Andrea and Matt, Arin and Cassy, Tawny and Daniel, Heather, Laura, Joseph, Jerrica, Deshayla, and Brayden; and 16 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 16, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. A procession will leave Phillips Funeral Home for a graveside service beginning at 1:30 p.m. at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Rob McIllwain officiating.
