Truman Exum, 74, of Paragould, passed away on Saturday, November, 9, 2019. He was born August 20, 1945, to George and Ersie Exum. Truman worked at Emerson for 39 years until retiring. He served on the Greene County Fair Board and also as fair manager. He coached softball and enjoyed going to flea markets. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Truman was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hero to his children.
Truman was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Forrest Exum and Marvin Exum; and sisters, Merlene Osborne and Georgia Mae Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Carol Exum; daughters and sons in law, Dalana and Chuck Bolster, Heather and Michael Davis; brothers, Paul Exum, Lynn Exum, David Exum, Calvin Exum; sisters, Maxine Beeler, Maggie Smith, Joyce Cunningham; and grandchildren, Cody Bolster, Ashton Exum, Makayla Bolster, and Grant Coffel.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 12, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at noon in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Bryan Exum officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
Dennis Owen, Danny Williams, Bud Fletcher, Bob Fletcher, Jim Fletcher, and Kent Williams will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include the Greene County Fair Board.
