Ada Elizabeth Jones, 90, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 19, 2015.  She was born July 14, 1924 at Bedford, IN to the late Jessie and Sylvia Gaines.  Ada spent so much of her time helping others. She volunteered in the cafeteria at CRA and loved being with the children.  She was a CRC dorm mom and volunteered at the Children's Home of Unwed Mothers.  She was active in the Senior Bee's, Silver Sneakers, Quilting Ladies of Center Hill, T.O.P.S., and the Blue Bonnet Group.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; son, Paul Handley; one brother; and three sisters.
Ada is survived by one daughter and son in law, Delores and Delmer Odell of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Mabel Davidson; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a great niece, Dana Jones.
The family will receive friends 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m.Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Phillips Funeral Home.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Calvin Jones officiating.  Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery at Hickory Ridge, AR.
Daniel Murphy, Brian Foltz, Larry Jones, Bobby Dodd, Ken Hoppe, and Justin Hoppe will serve as pallbearers.  Garrett Crosby , Patrick Crosby and Tim Weston will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
