Alan Vernon Riggins, 57, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. He was born September 25, 1967, to Vernon Riggins and Merlene Watkins. Alan loved drag racing and it was his favorite thing to do. He enjoyed fishing, he loved to cook, and was a big deer hunter.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents; son, Josh Riggins; brother, Jim Riggins; and sister, Peggy Riggins.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Tammy Riggins; daughters, Tasha Dean, Stephanie Riggins, Addie Riggins, Allie Riggins; brothers, Larry Riggins, Donnie Riggins (Rosie); sister, Sue Williams (Jeff); and grandchildren, Marlee, Conner, Jessica, Skylar; special niece, Danelle Williams; friend that is like a brother, Willie Don Williams; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, May 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery.

Daryl Walker, Lanny Walker, Chris Bateman, Thomas Brown, Landyn Walker, and Phillip Cox will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Oak Grove Hooligans.
