Alice Fay Grooms, 58, of Paragould, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. She was born May 17, 1960, to Warren and Freda Thurmond. Alice was a big supporter in Mental Health Awareness. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and her dog, Cocoa.

Alice was preceded in death by her father; and brothers, Warren "Bud" Thurmond, Lee Earl Thurmond.

Survivors include her mother, Freda Lawson; daughters and son-in-law, Michelle (Grooms) and Chris Biggs of Paragould, Karonia (Grooms) West and her fiancé, John Felty of Paragould; brother, James Thurmond, Claude Onley, Todd Onley; sisters, Margaret Schulties, Georgia Williams, Karen Summers, Cheryl Onley; grandchildren, Hunter Passmore, Kyle Grooms, Trenton Biggs, Braden Clark, Clayton West and Kaylie Biggs.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
