Allen Basil Crisler, 83, of Paragould passed away Friday, August 26, 2016.  He was born March 25, 1933, in LaCygne, Kansas, to the late Robert Earl and Nora Louise Crisler.  Allen attended Pittsburg State University in Kansas, where he majored in accounting.  He worked for the state of Nebraska as an accountant until his retirement in 1984.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, playing pool, antiquing, and always looked forward to a good auction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Robert, Kenneth, and Gerald Crisler; sisters, Elizabeth Bodle and Flora May Jones; and daughter, Robin Lee.

Survivors include sons, Curtis Crisler, of Lincoln, Nebraska, Douglas Crisler, of Blue Springs, Missouri, Derek Crisler, of Paragould, Bobby Crisler, of San Francisco, California, Brian Crisler, of Salem, Oregon; daughters, Mary Walcott and her husband, Buck, of Paragould, Debra Sell and her husband, Bruce, of Odessa, Missouri, Diana Crisler, and Nora Crisler, both of Salem, Oregon; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home.
