Alline Wheeler, 90, of Paragould, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born April 23, 1931, to Linneus and Virgie Mills. Alline loved being a homemaker. She started sewing at age 12 and had a passion for it. She had many sewing customers and enjoyed seeing them and making clothes for them. Alline loved fishing, traveling, camping, and doing yard work. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and great-grandchildren and loved her church family at Center Hill Church of Christ.

Alline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell Wheeler; and son-in-law, Michael Brown.

Survivors include her daughters, Pauletta Brown of Paragould, Beverly Hanes (Dennis) of Poplar Bluff, MO; brother, Leon Mills (Martha) of Tulsa, OK; sister, Pauline Ballard of Clarksville, AR; grandchildren, Eric Hanes (Audrey) of Jonesboro, Dusty Hanes (Alex) of Little Rock; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Ellie, Chandler, and Nora.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with David Deffenbaugh and Michael Meredith officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.
