Alta C. Kelley, 96, of Southaven, Mississippi, passed away September 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 23, 1917 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late P.D. and Mable Carpenter. Mrs. Kelley thoroughly enjoyed fishing and was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Paragould since 1947.Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Ralph Kelley.Survivors include her two daughters and son in law, Judith Maxwell and Kathy and Woody Galyean; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.Graveside services will be Thursday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. in Greene County Memorial Gardens.
