Anna “Bea” Beatrice DeLuryea, 98, of Marmaduke, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on July 20, 2026.

Born in Bee Branch, Arkansas on October 15, 1927, to John and Ivy Lewallen, Bea was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, LeRoy DeLuryea; three brothers and one sister; and her son-in-law, Danny Barnhart.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Laveda Barnhart and Anna Lynch and husband, Ricky; her grandchildren, Jamie Bennett and husband, Edward, Kia Stacy, Eric Lynch and wife, Kerri, Christopher Lynch and wife, Brianne, and Zachary Lynch; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Amelia Bennett, Romeo Lynch, Noam Lynch, and Lucan Lynch.

Known to everyone simply as “Bea,” she lived a life of faith and service. A faithful church member of New Life Family Church since 2002 and devoted prayer warrior. She touched many lives with her prayers, encouragement, and kindness. She enjoyed reading, square dancing, playing cards, bowling on a local team, and making her delicious homemade pies, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family.

One of Bea’s proudest accomplishments was earning her GED at the age of 61, a reflection of her determination and belief that it is never too late to pursue a goal.

Her favorite hymn, “How Great Thou Art,” reflected the faith that guided her throughout her life. Bea will be remembered for her steadfast trust in God, her loving spirit, and the example she set for her family and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday July 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00p.m at Philips Funeral Home in Paragould. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Holcomb officiating. The graveside service will follow at Harvey’s Chapel in Marmaduke.

Gary Priest, Jimmy Hardin, Byron Halcomb, Mike Prince, Jason Lyles and Cody Prince will serve as pallbearers.

Scott Ide, Eric Lynch and Christopher Lynch will serve as honorary pallbearers.
