Anna Marie Swindle, 79, of Paragould, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 9, 2017.  She was born October 15, 1938, in Strawberry, Arkansas, to A.I. and Eva Willmuth.  Marie was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, for 30 years.  There she was very active and greatly enjoyed teaching Sunday School.  Marie had a servant's heart and this was clearly seen through her actions.  She loved charity work and always tried to help if a need was present.  She was a very giving, kind person that never expected anything in return.  Marie loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Vernon Willmuth; and sisters, Kathy Lindsey.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Larry Swindle, of the home; daughter, Diane Neel, of Horn Lake, Mississippi; brother, Grady Willmuth, of Manila; sister, Connie Vassar, of Manila; grandchild, Sean Neel, of Horn Lake, Mississippi; 8 nephews and 5 nieces.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at Phillips Funeral Home from noon until 2:00 p.m.  A graveside service will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Knot Cemetery with Phillip Swindle officiating.
