Anthony Edward "Tony" Hampton, of Paragould, passed away November 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1966 to the late Ron Canter and Joann Schanda. Anthony loved to race at Crowley's Ridge Raceway. He was a member of Walcott Baptist Church.Preceding him in death was his biological father, Ron Canter; father, Neil Hampton; grandparents, Gordon and Thora Bracken and Merle Hampton. Survivors include his wife, Angie Hampton of the home; son, Seth Hampton of the home; step daughters, Courtney and Shelby Boyd; mother, Joann Schanda of Paragould; grandmother Ruth Hampton of Marmaduke; brothers, Nathan Hampton of New Mexico, Michael Canter of Missouri, and Mark Canter of Colorado; sisters, Kymberly Anderson and Reneilia Hampton of Paragould.The family will receive friends Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Royce Schanda officiating.
