Arch McCillis Mask Jr., 75, passed away on September 3, 2026.

Born on January 14, 1951, Arch lived a life marked by steady work, service, and faith. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, and his military service remained an important part of the story of his life. In his working years, he retired from National Paper. After retirement, he continued to stay active, working on the farm and doing construction.

Arch was preceded in death by his parents, Arch Sr. and Mary Mask; brother, JP Mask; sisters, Lou Kelly and Gail Rainey; and niece, Brenda.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Joan Mask; sons, Matthew Mask (Jennifer) and Cody Mask (Kendra); brother, Franklin Mask (Burnette); and grandchildren, Adryene Mask and Levi Mask.

Arch was also a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and was baptized there on February 22, 2004. His faith and church membership were meaningful parts of his life.

Family and friends will have the opportunity to honor and remember Arch during a visitation on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Aaron Neugebauer officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
