Arlie Jay BeasleyDecember 25, 1939 - November 22, 2014 Arlie Jay Beasley, 74, of Paragould passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born at Beech Grove on December 25, 1939 to the late James and Sterlean Beasley. Arlie was a member of Paragould Church of God and was retired from the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center maintenance department.Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Gerald Beasley.Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jo Ann Beasley of the home; two daughters, Charlotte Mitchell of Paragould and Carrie Smith and her husband Richard of Jackson, MO; two brothers, Marlon and James F. Beasley; one sister, Velma Autry; three grandchildren, Shayla Weiss, Savannah Van Slyke, and Trevor Smith; three great grandchildren, Sam Weiss, Andrew Weiss, and Landon Van Slyke.The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00a.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
