Artie Odell Houston, 83, passed away Monday, February 24, 2020, in Ridgely, Tennessee.  He was born July 9, 1936, in Brookland, Arkansas.  Artie was the son of Herman Houston and Sylvia Halcumb Taylor.  Artie was a member of The Church at Paragould.
He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jason and Rachel Houston of Branson, Missouri; two grandsons, Alex Houston and Aaron Houston, also of Branson; nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.
Artie was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia; his step-father, H.P. Taylor; and his sister, Fay Pounds.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home.  Services will be held Saturday, February 29, at 10:00 AM at The Church at Paragould, 210 North 4th Avenue, with Chris Bass officiating.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
