Barbara Jane Wortham, 83, of Paragould, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. She was born June 24, 1938, to Jess and Emma Byers. Barbara attended The Church at Paragould. She enjoyed crocheting and visiting Michigan. She loved her grandbabies and was a Sunday School Teacher at 14th St. Church of God.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wortham; parents; sisters, Bernice Mitchell, Margerat Kelm; and brothers, Eugene Byers and Wyman Byers.

Survivors include her children, Rondal and Tammy Wortham, Renae and Bill Robertson, and Thomas and Latricia Wortham; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 14, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 15, at 12:00 p.m. at The Church at Paragould with Jerry England and Jesse England officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
