Beneda Pearson, 88, of Paragould, passed away December 17, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was born December 8, 1926 in Lake City, Arkansas to the late Claude A. and Roxie Norman. Mrs. Pearson was a member of Newton Street Church of Christ and thoroughly enjoyed game shows, especially Wheel of Fortune. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Warren Pearson; one son, Jerry Wayne Pearson; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Jackie and Jolene Pearson; one daughter, Mary Jane Flowers, all of Paragould; four sisters, Louise Smith, Betty Smith, Mazie Jones, Lula Faye Swartz; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends December 19 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with L.R. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Heights Cemetery.
