Benita Faye Hester, 69, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. She was born August 14, 1955, to Mack and Berniece Hester. Benita worked at the Greene County Health Department and in her spare time, she loved going to the lake and shopping. She went by the nickname "Lola" and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Benita was preceded in death by her mother, Berniece Hester.

Survivors include her father, Mack Hester; daughter, Lindsey Locke (Andrew); sisters, Denita Stewart (Mike), Julie Tedder (Mike); grandchildren, Londyn Locke and Leighton Locke; and nieces, Kari Gauthier (Patrick) and family, Laken Watts (Murray) and family, and Cydney Russell (Tyler) and family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 6, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Jeff Dial officiating. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.

Andrew Locke, Mike Tedder, Mike Stewart, Mark Rowland, Patrick Gauthier, and James Vaughan will serve as pallbearers.
