Bernice Irene Baker, 67 of Paragould, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. She was born May 2, 1954, to Jewel and Mary Baker. Bernice loved doing crossword puzzles and playing bingo. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, J. C. Baker, Helen Baker, Daisy Gilliam, and Willie Baker.
Survivors include her daughters, Kristie Craig, Rebecca Bateman; grandchildren, Ashley Fisher (Otis), Nathan Sparkman (Sky), Jason Bateman, Alex Bateman; and great-grandchildren, Norah Fisher, Maverick Fisher, Marlee Sparkman, and Aydean Sparkman.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Herman Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Brian Johnston, Randy Gladish, Otis Fisher, Jason Bateman, Butch Webster, and Adam Brothers will serve as pallbearers.
