Bertha Lou Carson, 76, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017. She was born April 11, 1941, in Joplin, Missouri, to the late Elzie and Hester Hardee.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.C. Carson; daughter, Mary Wilkerson; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan Swindle; son in law, Marion

Wilkerson; brother, Robert Hardee; grandchildren, Randall Wilkerson, Sammy Joe Morgan, Amy Breckenridge, and Jimmy Lowe, Jr.; and great grandchildren, Bryson Morgan and Mason Wyman.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.
