Betty Louveda Day, 83, of Paragould, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice in Jonesboro. She was born September 30, 1934, to A. D. and Pauline Hufford. Betty was a member of the Paragould Church of God and enjoyed reading the bible. She loved playing the piano and singing and going to flea markets. Betty always took care of the ones she loved and loved being the boss.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Day; and daughter Donna Day Jordan.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and Randy Collins; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud and Faye Hufford, Tim and Sadie Hufford; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Gary Thomen, Phyllis and Joe Blanchette; grandchildren, Dennis and Asia Collins, Lori Jordan, Westley Jordan, Heather Stivers, and Donnae Alley; and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 16, 2017, from 10 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery.
