Betty Joyce Eagan, 84, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born August 10, 1938, to Hollis and Vera South. Betty was an avid collector that collected a variety of things. She enjoyed embroidering and crocheting in her spare time.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leon Eagan; brother, Larry South; grandson, Landon Perkins; and great-grandchild, Ryker Allen Marrs.

Survivors include her son, Richard (Linda) Eagan of Paragould; daughters, Sheri Davis of the home, Daphne (Robert) Perkins of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home with Wesley Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Grandchildren, Derick, Candice, Marcus, Wesley, Jacob, and Nikkolette will serve as pallbearers.
