Betty "Stephenson" Ellington, 89, of Paragould, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was born July 6, 1928, in Lansing, Michigan, to Ed and Edith Stephenson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ellington; 3 children, Bobby Ellington of Texas, Sherry Powell of Machinaw, IL, Rodney Ellington of Paragould; 2 sisters, Zelma Hyde of Cardwell, MO, Neva Stanfill of Paragould; parents, Ed and Edith Stephenson of Paragould; and brother, Don Stephenson of Paragould.

Survivors include her 5 children, Pat Wendell of Pekin, IL, Janice Harms of Mapleton, IL, Edith King of Pennsylvania, Barb Kappessor of Maryland, Mark Ellington of Paragould; 2 sisters, Barb Carr of Paragould, Dora Phelps of Paragould; and 1 brother, Bill Stephenson of Kansas City, MO.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 3 p.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 4 p.m. in the Center Hill Chapel of Phillips Funeral Home.  Burial will be private.
