Betty H. (Brimhall) Hamm, 92, departed this life on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.  She was born on November 4, 1931, to Henry and Ethel (Smith) Brimhall in Taft, California.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ethel Brimhall; brother, Dale Brimhall; son, Dale Smith; granddaughter, Elizabeth Smith; grandson, Joseph Hamm; and husband, Gene Hamm.

Betty leaves behind a daughter, Linda K. Hamm of Pocahontas; son and daughter-in-law, Lyle and Linda Hamm of Lafe; granddaughter, LaDonna (Wendell) Bullinger of Paragould; great-granddaughter, Shyanna Swanson of Paragould; great-grandsons, Matthew Hamm of Lafe and Jamie (Elizabeth) Goforth of Paragould; great-great-granddaughter, Beulah Goforth of Paragould; long time family friends, Larry and Rejean Hufford of Louisiana; and several nephews.

Betty was a very loveable, caring, and outgoing person.  She loved reading her books and crocheting afghans of any pattern.  Being with family and friends brought Betty much joy.  She worked at Safeway for 15 years.  She loved going camping at Lake Norfork for weeks at a time.  She loved anything with Betty Boop or unicorns on it.  Also, she loved watching the Cardinal Bird during the game and loved to cook. 3

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, at Woodland Heights Cemetery under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home.
