Betty “Jeannie Marie” Jean Rock passed away on October 5, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on December 7, 1967, in Tiptonville, Tennessee.

Jeannie Marie will be remembered as a woman whose greatest joy and deepest love were her children and grandchildren. Family was at the center of her life, and she treasured the time she shared with those closest to her. She also found happiness in the simple and spirited moments that made her unmistakably herself.

She loved singing while cooking, filling everyday life with warmth and personality. She enjoyed traveling, especially on motorcycle, and her journeys took her as far as the Florida Keys and Sturgis. Throughout her life, she also had many dogs that she loved dearly. Those who knew her will remember familiar comforts that seemed always to be part of her presence: she was never seen without a Mountain Dew and BC Powder.

She is survived by her son, Johnathan William Rock (Audrey Jane), and her daughter, Stephanie Marie Rock. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jayden, Brody, Remmy, Olivia, Maxim, and Meris, who were part of the great love and pride of her life. She is also survived by Garry Edwards, her beloved companion, and by William Rock, the father of her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Edward and Betty Carolyn Cole; and her brother, Christopher Martin Cole.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lafe with Pastor Aaron Neugebauer officiating.  The family will have a private burial service.
