Betty Ann Lancaster's Obituary

Betty Ann Lancaster,70, of Arbyrd, Missouri, passed away on April 7, 2026. Born on August 20, 1955, in Hollywood, Missouri, Betty Ann lived a life marked by devotion, kindness, and unwavering faith.

A loving mother and cherished family member, Betty Ann held steadfast to her belief and love for Jesus Christ above all else. She was an active and devoted member of Greater Refuge Church in Senath, Missouri. In past years, she enjoyed song leading at her church. Her passion for sharing the gospel was evident to all who knew her, as she tirelessly shared the message of Jesus with everyone she encountered.

Throughout her life, Betty Ann found joy in sewing, playing games and cards, and cooking—activities that brought comfort and warmth to her family and friends. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of countless individuals within her church and community.

Betty Ann’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years, Roy Lancaster; her children Daniel Standley, Olivia Howard, and Samantha Cox (Daniel); and her beloved sisters, Linda Holder and Shelia Winkle. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Asha Cox, Lakeisha Standley, Eric Pierce, Felicia Vaughn, Charlie Cox, and Gabriella Cox, as well as her great-grandchildren Arionna Peterson, Edan Peterson, Roran Perkins, Theron Perkins, Elijah Vaughn, and an expected great-grandchild fondly known as Baby Cox.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Wesley and Mandy Geneva (Coats) Holder; her siblings Barbara Davis, William Holder, Bonnie Holder, Nina Holder, Paul Holder, and David Holder; and her son-in-law, Rod Howard.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 10, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Phillips Funeral Home with Alan Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Senath Cemetery.
